Long story short – it is. And here is why:

Taste of the Subtle Earth Organic Coffee
Contrary to what the name might lead you to believe in, this coffee has no Earthy taste. Although extremely natural – the taste is as rich as you can expect from such a high-quality cup of organic coffee. We really loved that it has a full body in its essence. Its taste has notes of rich chocolate, and it has a clear finish. So, although it doesn’t have a too long aftertaste, it is simply amazing.
Many people who tried it notice how it has a smooth milk aftertaste, and that the sweet notes resemble those of caramel, honey, and cocoa.
Another thing we noticed about this amazing tasting coffee is that it has a profound depth of flavor, velvety body, and low acidity. As a low-acid coffee, it means that you’ll enjoy drinking it without having stomach pains afterward. This is even if you drink it without having breakfast first.
When we talk about the quality of any type of coffee – you know that we need to talk about certifications. However, this coffee failed to disappoint us. It has been certified as Organic by CCOF, it has also been certified as GMO-Free. In essence, this means that the coffee is grown without the use of pesticides, herbicides or any other type of harmful chemicals. It is grown on high altitudes, and it doesn’t need any insecticides as well. It is an interesting thing to know that the fruit of the coffee bean is used as a fertilizer whereas peppers are used as a bug repellent.
Moreover, this also means that the coffee is really healthy, perfectly for those who have sensitive digestive systems.
Of course, this doesn’t mean that you can drink 20 cups of it in a single day. Make sure that your caffeine intake is within the normal limits, and you won’t feel any discomfort at all.
Also, we should mention that the coffee originates from the Honduras region. This is a very famous region for bringing amazing coffee on the market. It is a part of the Sharing Certified Program which also means that the company is using eco-friendly farms from local farmers to grow the coffee. In the end, this also proves that the coffee you’ll be drinking is eco-friendly.
How to use the Subtle Earth Organic Coffee
Another thing that you can’t fail to notice about the Subtle Earth coffee is that it is a 100% Arabica coffee – the best tasting one. As a 100% Arabica coffee, the Subtle Earth offers a variety of ways in which you can prepare it. Here are the ways in which you’ll brew the perfect Subtle Earth coffee in the comfort of your home
When you are using a traditional drip machine, you’ll need to follow these instructions:
First, add about 10 grams (or a rounded measuring tablespoon) of finely ground Subtle Earth coffee. Make sure it is not a powder but fine granular sand. Add about six ounces of water (1 cup of 177 ml) and adjust the coffee to your taste.
When using a French press add 1-2 measuring tablespoons (10-20g) of coarse ground coffee. Add one cup of water (177ml) of water. Make sure to not use boiling water, as it will taste bland.
When you are using an espresso machine with this coffee, make sure to fill the portafilter to line with espresso ground coffee. It is also really important to get the precise grind to ensure maximum crema.
Hand Drip Method:
When using the hand drip method, you should add 8-10 grams of medium-fine ground coffee per cup of coffee you intend to drink. Heat up the water to about 190-195 degrees, (88-90.5 c). Make sure to pre-soak the grounds and afterward, slowly add the water in a clockwise motion.
The coffee comes in a 2lb package, sealed perfectly. Thanks to its convenient package, the coffee preserves its freshness, and this means that it will taste and smell perfectly.
Although the package isn’t too big nor too small, we could note that it should have different sizes to choose from. The 2lb package is often enough for a monthly coffee dosage for many people. So, we can say that the package is pretty convenient
Also, since it is a medium-dark roast, you’ll need to be careful about how you keep it in your home. It is best to keep it in dry, dark places to preserve its freshness further on.
We hope that you found the Don Pablo Subtle Earth Organic coffee as delightful as we did. We can really see why it is so famous!
